L'hotel è piuttosto modesto, ma considerando che è una stella e costa 50? al giorno la doppia, non potevamo aspettarci niente di più. Camera di dimensioni ridotte, pulizia non proprio impeccabile, ma aveva il bagno con doccia. La pecca maggiore il 5° piano senza ascensore. I dintorni sono ottimi: un po' lontani dal centro (circa mezz'ora di metro e 3 cambi), ma il quartiere è vivace anche di sera e ci sono tanti posti dove comprare pane, caffè, pizze, ecc...In particolare c'è un supermercato che ha veramente tutto!! Nel complesso giudizio positivo. Ah, dimenticavo: metro a 2 metri!!

The hotel fulfills a basic need and if one merely needs to get out of the rain, then I could recommend it. However it is quite noisy resulting from the squeaky doors and loud deadbolts. With common but separate toilet and shower there is a lot of opening and closing of doors with the sounds echoing down the hallways. The point of most concern was the objectionally strong sachet of herbs hung just inside my door as a deodorizer. One could only wonder what disaster was being masked. It did not make for a good night's sleep.

non cambiano gli asciugamani per tutta la permanenza.La stanza e il letto viene appena tirato su.Non c'è il telefono in camera.Le scale per salire ai vari piani sono molto strette(a chiocciola)ed è difficile anche portare i bagagli.Di positivo una fermata della Metro (Pelleport)all'altro lato della strada.Occupata una camera matrimoniale per 4 notti.

The Mary s hotel is a very nice hotel, very quite, very good located, and very easy to reach with the metro. It was very clean. I would recommend it, specially because of the price.

the first thing i noticed was that they had no elevators and i had to climb the stairs with two huge luggages to the 6th floor, that was a workout. the first thing you notice entering into the room is there is a funky smell. i would gag everytime i entered the room, moreover the smell would get on your clothes. another thing is that the bathroom and showers are across the hall. all this is yours for 36 euros a night. cant really ask for much with that price. by the way, you kind of get use to the smell the longer you stay.

Indubbiamente il rapporto qualità prezzo compensa alcune mancanze della struttura (ascensore, locali piccoli e 'old fashion', cambio biancheria da camera e bagno,...) ma se si cerca una postazione per il solo dormire (come noi) consigliamo questo hotel, trascorrevamo tutte le giornate fuori visitando la città di Parigi e rientravamo solo per la notte tra l'altro la posizione è buona in quanto vicinissimo a una stazione della metro (in 10/15 minuti si raggiunge il centro) inoltre la reception è aperta a tutte le ore. Siamo a Parigi e i prezzi medi degli altri alloggi sono decisamente più alti per cui ci si deve accontentare....

it was not easy for some of us to ask questions in the hotel: they don´t speak english and two of us don´t speak french.We couldnot make clear that we wanted some more towels, for example. We only have 2 towels for the three of us , al four days the same two towels. It was a very very small room; just enough for the beds. An open window ánd lying on the bed was not possibel. The fotographs of the rooms suggested more space.

The receptionist on duty during our arrival was completely incompetent, non-English speaking and impolite overall (we hardly get our rooms). All the other employees were polite, competent and English speaking.

Rapporto qualità prezzo veritiero. Adatto secondo me ad un soggiorno per brevi periodi, visto le piccole dimensioni della camera e che il cambio lenzuola/asciugamani non è giornaliero. Vicinissimo (meno di 100 m),da una fermata della metropolitana. Lo staff parla quasi esclusivamente francese, ma capisce qualche parola di inglese. Colazione (opzionale costo ? 5,50 a persona)abbondante in un'ambiente confortevole. In conclusione esperienza sicuramente positiva.

I booked a single room for myself, and as i expected, the room is furnished with a single bed, sink, plus TV. But to reach this floor, which i supposed are all the single rooms located, i have to clam up for 6 floors and the stairs are narrow. Although I have prepared to share a shower-room and a toilet with the others on the floor, i was surprised to find the shower did not work. But in spite of the fact that my room always smells cigarets, i find the location of the hotel quite convenient.There are cafes, bakeries, Post, supermarks in the surroundings, and the subwaystations are also 5 minutes away. I had a great time in Paris, and paid a relatively low price for the room, but i felt uncomfortable in the room, maybe double-rooms are better equipped.

To pay 50 Euro pr.day,It should be a must to have a clean room .It was dirty bed clothes with pubic hair in bed.And carpet on the floor are a disaster(Dirty).Very much noise from surrounding room. The hotel staff was ok,poor english but they was helpful.But the room in hotel itself was in poor condition.

Preis und Leistung stimmen für ein Hotel in Zentrumsnähe von Paris. Einfaches Hotel, normal sauber. Als reine Unterkunft für einen Parisurlaub vollkommen ausreichend, für einen Aufenthalt mit Schwerpunkt Hotelkomfort doch ein wenig dürftig. Die Lage innerhalb von Paris ist o.k. für den, der etwas vom normalen Flair des Pariser Lebens mitbekommen will. Verbindungen zur Innenstadt sehr o.k. (Metro ca. 500 m), mehrere Buslinien, mit denen man Sightseeing machen kann.

Il Mary's Hotel è confortevole. l'unica cosa è che nelle camere non esistono armadi. la metropolitana Pelleport si trova a 20 metri, ma per raggiungere la linea 1 bisogna fare 3 cambi. in 1/4 d'ora si è in centro. il bus notturno non è troppo distante. il bagno è pulito (WC, lavandino e doccia). cambiano gli asciugamani ogni 5 giorni perciò è meglio portare qualcosa da casa. il satellite riceve solamente canali tedeschi e francesi... il quartiere è tranquillo e ci sono molti ristorantini e take away. una bella vacanza!!

La propreté de la salle de bains laisse un peu à désirer!Et les draps pourraient être changés plus souvent.Pour la télévision,il faut avoir de bonnes oreilles car le volume maximum n'est pas terrible.En plus, la rue en dessous est très fréquentée.Mais pour quelques jours,ça suffit...Le lit est très confortable par contre!

Il soggiorno e' stato soddisfacente in relazione al prezzo... non ci si puo' aspettare di piu' per la cifra pagata! La professionalita' del personale lascia un po' a desiderare: comunicare con loro e' pressoche' impossibile dato che non conoscono l'inglese e passano ore ed ore impegnati in telefonate personali. Il quartiere e' molto tranquillo e ben collegato al centro. Di grande "aiuto" sono stati il supermercato ed il panificio nelle vicinanze. Valutando pro e contro siamo contenti della nostra scelta e probabilmente la ripeteremo in un futuro ritorno a Parigi!

I was searching for a low-budget hotel, and I was expecting a very poor hotel. I was happily surprised when I saw the room, which are not as small as I imagined but quite large and comfortable. The price/quality relationship is quite excellent. big and cheap rooms in paris is a good and rare deal. Just one problem: reception is open just till 3 a.m. so it's not possible to stay outside all night long! this is a great problem. I advice that the hotel would leave the key to the guests. anyway very good stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. When set in relation to the cheap price, the room was really quite comfortable and appropriate. We had a nice view out on the street from our window. The TV was also a nice addition, but it was very quiet and you couldn't turn up the volume. The only really distressing thing about Mary's Hotel was that the rooms hat quite thin walls and you could hear almost everything your neighbours were doing (which can be quite a bad thing if they are listening to techno all night long).

La camera da letto non era molto spaziosa(una tripla) ma il bagno era molto grande. Non c'è ascensore e le scale sono strette. Per la cifra richiesta c'è un ottimo rapporto qualitàprezzo se non si hanno molte pretese. Nelle vicinanze ci sono almeno due supermercati e nella stessa via dell'hotel c'è un bar con un proprietario e il suo cane snoopy molto simpatici!

Appena arrivati c'é stato un piccolo problema con la nostra prenotazione, e ci hanno dato una stanza per quahc euro in piú del previsto, ma per 52? per la stanza a notte rimane sempre economico per la sua dislocazione (a 50m da una fermata del metro e 500 dall'altra + autobus notturno a 1km) e per il servizio offerto (camere pulite, grandi, comode). Se mi trovassi a Parigi ci tornerei volentieri.

Direi che è meglio di come me lo sarei aspettato.Posto tranquillo,vicino alla metro(in 15 minuti in pieno centro),molti negozi di alimentari nel quartiere e cosa molto importante stanza e BAGNO PULITI.Quando tornerò a Parigi(bella,ma non ho fatto a tempo a visitare tutto quello che volevo)lo prenderò ancora in considerazione(visto i prezzi che girano).

Finding the Hotel was quite difficult as we emerged from Gambetta metro station onto busy Place Gambetta. The hotel itself was adequate for a budget option. We had two single rooms & a double room. The double room (for my sister & husband) was much better quality than the singles. The singles were up on the 6th floor with no lift which wasn't so good for my 61 year old mother. The guy on reception wasn't so friendly on our arrival & failed to give us a receipt. The other staff on duty at different times were much nicer. There was a lot of traffic noise all through the night in the rooms facing onto Rue Pelleport. The communal toilets & shower were adequate although the shower suffered from low water pressure. Overall though for what you pay it was good value. The rooms were very clean. The area itself was also surprisingly nice. Place Gambetta was excellent for cafes, tabacs & McDonalds. It was only 6 metro stops to the centre of the city so I wouldn't say it was too far out. This was my 4th visit to Paris. I would give Mary's Hotel a thumbs up for budget travellers.

This is a nice affordable hotel in a quiter neighborhood of Paris. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a Metro stop is only a few steps away. My wife and I would stay there again.

Leider befand sich die Dusche auf dem Flur, was ich über Internet nicht erkennen konnte. Das Hotel hätte ich sonst nicht gebucht. Im Gegensatz zu dem Doppelzimmer waren die Einzelzimmer alle ohne Dusche und auch nicht so sauber. Eine Mitreisende hat ihr Zimmer gewechselt.

A hotel that you get for the price you pay. It's dark, it's messy, it's raunchy, and it reeks of body odor. Don't plan on going back to Mary's Hotel if you want to relax during the day. Considering the neighborhood it's in and the quality of the rooms, you're probably safer and cleaner in a metro stop bench.

Its a good and easy location for visiting Paris, not far from the turistic center and very close to wonderful Pere Lachaise Cementery. Very big rooms, at least ours, and cheap for Paris.

Il grande pregio di questo hotel è l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo: una tripla costa meno di 20 euro a persona e vi assicuro che l'hotel è davvero molto pulito e carino, ha la TV satellitare (potrete vedere anche RAI uno) e la moquette, da non crederci! Certo se siete fissati con gli asciugamani che devono essere cambiati tutti i giorni (che d'altronde, non credo ognuno di noi lo faccia a casa propria), con la presenza dell'ascensore, con le camere spaziosissime e con ogni genere lussuosa comodità.....evitate! Ma se volete risparmiare (e anche tanto),e avete un discreto spirito di adattamento, non aspettate oltre e prenotate al Mary's Hotel! Chi vi parla è un organizzatore di viaggi di gruppo e vi assicuro che tutto il gruppo è rimasto contento. L'unico inconveniente è la colazione sui cui orari i gestori sono molto rigidi, forse a causa della sala piccolissima di cui dispongono, ma non disperate, perchè il quartiere in cui è ubicato l'hotel è ricchissimo di locali, supermercati (a Parigi l'acqua minerale nei bar è carissima, compratela lì) e anche bar dove preparano anche l'espresso italiano ed infine......la fermata del metrò a 20 metri!!!! Ci tornerò di sicuro!

There is no lift (elevator) for this seven storey "hotel" and I did not get any help to bring my heavy luggage up the top floor. No proper lighting along the corridor and staircase, poor quality furniture & finishing in the room, photograph of room on website does not reflect actual room condition, no ensuite bath/shower. Very disappointed, services & facilities do not match what it claims on the website.
