Description
|
Jewel of gothic architecture, the Sainte Chapelle was built at Saint-Louis request during the 13th century so as to house the Christ's crown of thorns. The chapel with its 600 sq m of stained-glass windows (2/3 being authentic) represents one of the most complete examples of the stained-glass window art of that time.
